LuckMeet Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
LuckMeet is a private intimacy journal by Shanci. This policy explains what the app stores, how it handles that information, and how you can manage it.
Information on your device
LuckMeet stores the profile and people details you enter or select, such as names, gender, orientation, roles, tags, and avatars; encounter dates, times, duration, location text, participants, rounds, play, positions, protection, orgasm counts, ratings, and notes; and photos, videos, audio, and attachment details. It also stores timer drafts, custom library entries, language, appearance, and lock settings. This can include sensitive personal information. You choose what to enter.
Records and statistics are processed locally. LuckMeet has no accounts, app server, or iCloud sync. It includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, does not upload your records, media, or profiles to Shanci, and does not sell that data.
Passcodes and media protection
A six-digit app passcode protects access to the interface. Optional Face ID or Touch ID verification is handled by iOS; LuckMeet receives no biometric data. Salted passcode hashes are stored in the local Keychain. The app covers its content when it moves to the background.
Media attachments are encrypted locally with AES-GCM, with keys stored in the device Keychain. Text records and preferences use system local storage; the entire database is not encrypted with your app passcode. Alternate Space has separate data and media keys, but does not guarantee protection against device file extraction. Media playback may create decrypted temporary files protected by the system, which the app removes during cleanup or space changes.
Device permissions
Camera, microphone, photo selection, and Face ID access are used for the corresponding features: capturing media, recording audio, importing selected media, and unlocking. Manage permissions in iOS Settings; refusing a permission affects the related feature. Locations are selected or typed by you; the app does not request GPS permission.
Backups and moving devices
After verifying your primary passcode in the primary space, you can export an encrypted .luckmeetbackup file. The complete backup includes records, attachments, preferences, and recovery keys for the primary and any configured alternate space. It is protected by the primary passcode used at export. A six-digit passcode offers limited protection, so keep the file secure.
You choose where to save or send a backup using the system share sheet or Files. If you choose a third-party storage or sharing service, that service handles the file under its own policies. Import replaces current data and requires both the current primary passcode and the old primary passcode used at export. After restoration, unlock with the old passcode.
Media directories are marked as excluded from system backups. Whether other local data enters a device backup depends on iOS and your settings. System backups and purchase restoration should not be treated as a complete journal recovery method; use the app's encrypted backup to move your records.
App Store purchases
LuckMeet uses Apple StoreKit to load the PRO product, process the one-time purchase, and verify entitlement. Apple handles payment; the app uses verified transactions to determine access. Shanci does not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password. Apple's handling of its data is covered by Apple's privacy policy. Backups do not contain purchase entitlement, and restoring a purchase does not restore journal data.
Retention and deletion
Manage records in the app or verify your identity in Settings to erase data. Erasing from the primary space clears both primary and alternate space data; erasing from the alternate space affects only that space. Delete exported, shared, or separately backed-up copies at their respective locations. Erasing local data does not delete purchase records held by Apple.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive the address, message, and attachments you provide and use them to handle your request. Do not send app passcodes, backup files, or intimate photos. Contact: support@shanciapp.com.
This website does not receive or read your app records. Visiting it sends normal network request information, such as your IP address and requested path, to the hosting server. It stores only your chosen display language in browser local storage and uses no advertising or analytics tracking scripts.
Policy updates
This policy may change with the app's features. The update date appears on this page. Contact Shanci at the email above with privacy questions.
